Fasciano wants most of all “To make people understand how important and what a joy it is to have a neurodiverse workforce and the benefit they bring to the community. We now have gluten-free items and healthy choices. We can cater your events for desserts, and supply items for sale in theaters and at sporting events, etc.”
Edie Weinstein: What does kindness mean to you?
Paula Fasciano: Kindness means acceptance. It means understanding that we are all different from each other, yet we have respect for who someone is, no matter what. It’s a free gift we can all give one another.
Bake Ability, a savory and sweet specialties bakery located in Holicong, has quickly become a pillar of the community for not only serving up delicious baked goods hand-crafted with love, but also for its dedication to uplifting men and women with intellectual disabilities.
Bake Ability’s mission is to give individuals with different abilities a chance to learn a trade while being mentored by professionals. It also gives them the opportunity to contribute to and be a bigger part of the community.
